The Presidential Primary is our opportunity to help choose the Democratic Party nominee. It is also the first step in the delegate selection process where Delegates nominate and vote on our Party’s nominee.

In 2022, Missouri Republicans placed the burden of presidential selection on the state parties. That failure to support civic engagement led to the Republican Caucuses having less that 1000 participants in 2024.

Democrats chose a hybrid of mail in voting, where ballots could be requested up to March 12, and in person voting on March 23. Mail in ballots must be received by 10:00 am on Saturday March 23 in order to be counted.

Registered voters who are not Registered Republicans or participants in the 2024 Republican Caucus may receive a ballot in the Democratic Primary. There are five in person locations to choose from and all locations can be found HERE.
