The St. Louis County Democratic Party is the county level Democratic organization serving St. Louis County. We work in cooperation with the Missouri Democratic Party (MDP) at the state level, and the Democratic National Committee (DNC) at the national level.

The Democratic voters of St. Louis County have representation at every level of the party. The St. Louis County Democratic Party is led by St. Louis County Democratic Committeepeople, who are residents of St. Louis County elected by their neighbors to represent the Democratic voters of each township in St. Louis County.

The Missouri Democratic Party is led by the State Committee. Residents of each Missouri State Senate District are chosen by county level Democratic Committeepeople to represent their communities as Committeepeople of the State Committee.

And during every presidential election year, delegates to the Missouri State Democratic Convention, who are elected by Democratic voters at delegate selection meetings held across the state, select people to represent the state of Missouri as members of the Democratic National Committee.
