The St. Louis County Democratic Central Committee is the official organization for Democrats in the County of Saint Louis. St. Louis and the other state county Democratic Central Committees are part of the Missouri Democratic Party.
The St. Louis County Democratic Central Committee seeks to engage, inform, and mobilize St. Louis County Democrats through:
VOTER REGISTRATION. Throughout the year, the Party organizes voter registration drives and outreach efforts to register hundreds of new Democrats throughout the county.
VOTER OUTREACH. Our grassroots volunteers and activists reach out to local voters, providing information on officially endorsed candidates and motivating county Democrats to turn out to vote. We also coordinate with the state party, national party, and other grassroots organizations to support Democratic candidates in contested races across the state and country.
ENDORSEMENTS. The St. Louis County Democratic Party makes endorsements every election to inform Democratic voters about the ballot measures we consider most worthy of support.
TOWNSHIP DEMOCRATIC CLUBS. The Party’s local grassroots organizing is spearheaded by its Township Democratic clubs and numerous allied organizations. There are twenty-eight township clubs active in St. Louis county.
FUNDRAISING & INFRASTRUCTURE. The Party relies on fundraising to support its work to register and engage voters and to ensure that we have the resources necessary to elect democrats at the local, state and national level.
