THE ST. LOUIS COUNTY DEMOCRATIC CENTRAL COMMITTEE CALLS ON ALL MISSOURI ELECTED OFFICIALS TO DEMAND AN END TO ICE OPERATIONS
The St. Louis County Democratic Central Committee strongly condemns the actions of federal agents from the Department of Homeland Security and ICE, who are harming Americans and immigrants across the United States. These operations are meant to terrorize people, regardless of immigration status. ICE’s actions are wrong, illegal, and punitive. They are damaging people’s trust in justice and threatening the rights of everyone in America.
The St. Louis County Democratic Central Committee calls on the Trump administration to stop all ICE operations immediately. We demand all Missouri elected officials—no matter their political party—publicly condemn ICE raids, illegal searches and seizures, and interference in Americans’ right to free speech and public assembly. St. Louis cannot grow or succeed without safety, security, and respect for the law. To make that possible, ICE must stop its illegal actions in the St. Louis area, across Missouri, and in the United States, as a whole.
This statement was approved by a unanimous vote of the members of the St. Louis County Democratic Central Committee on Thursday, January 15th, 2026.

El Comité Demócrata Central del Condado de St. Louis condena enérgicamente las acciones de los agentes federales del Departamento de Seguridad Nacional y de ICE, que están perjudicando a estadounidenses e inmigrantes en todo los Estados Unidos. Estas operaciones tienen como objetivo aterrorizar a la población, independientemente de su estatus migratorio. Las acciones de ICE son incorrectas, ilegales y punitivas.
